Business Intelligence Analyst

As a Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst for Finance, you will have the opportunity to collaborate in accelerating the growth of PayJoy by improving PayJoy’s global internal operations and forecasting. You will be directly responsible for owning the measurement of key metrics (such as revenue, growth and sales efficiency metrics)  that enables agile financial planning. The right candidate will exhibit ownership of the process from end to end; not only measuring what they are told but working collaboratively with Finance and Go to Market leaders develop testable hypotheses that drive rapid scale.  PayJoy is committed to the goal of building a dynamic, diverse team, and strongly encourages applications from women and minorities.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate internally with Finance to determine drivers of performance and develop KPIs to drive execution of company-wide goals
  • Partner with Go To Market leadership to analyze business performance and make recommendations to achieve sales targets
  • Use your data-driven perspective to develop and refine forecasting models to improve accuracy and depth
  • Develop, manage and continuously refine driver-based loan origination framework, across multiple countries and regions
  • Work with local country teams, acting as a data-fluent consultant to measure and achieve success
  • Design, build and maintain dashboards and data visualizations that provide strategic insights on company performance
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure every growth driver is measurable
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or similar
  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Advanced SQL (someone has called you a SQL ninja at some point and you liked that)
  • Fluency in Python or R preferred
  • Familiarity with a modern data stack a plus (We use Snowflake, Fivetran, DBT, and Mode)
