FP&A Marketing Manager

PayJoy is hiring a FP&A Marketing Manager to join our fast-paced, mission driven, and talented organization. Reporting to the Director of FP&A, you will partner with the Head of Global Marketing to shape our marketing investment strategy by ensuring financial and operating decisions are based on sound financial reasoning. This role starts as an individual contributor, but you will have the opportunity to build a team as needs develop. You have experience in marketing FP&A, you can roll up your sleeves while thinking strategically, and you share our mission to expand access to finance to the next billion consumers worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • Be the primary Finance partner for our Head of Global Marketing
  • Partner with Marketing leadership to develop marketing strategies by : 1) creating financial analyses that allow leaders to make clear decisions, 2) forecasting marketing performance, 3) surfacing strategic insights for partners, and 4) help inform PayJoy’s investment capacity
  • Collaborate across Marketing, Finance, and Business Intelligence (among other teams) to understand complex relationships between key drivers of our business
  • Develop robust models to streamline decision-making. Ensure financial objectives such as margins, growth, efficiency, productivity, are appropriately analyzed and understood by business partners
  • Prepare formal presentations of financial results and forecasted results to senior leaders, including reporting of Marketing and Partner metrics and KPIs
  • Drive the marketing budgeting and budget to actuals reporting process. Improve forecasting accuracy, timeliness and depth.
  • Collaborate with the accounting team in the monthly and quarterly close process.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or economics. MBA a plus.
  • 7 - 10 years of work experience with 3 years in marketing FP&A. 
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel.
  • Intermediate level of SQL skills.
  • Experience managing teams.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to present in person and in writing to non-finance audiences.
  • Desired qualifications

  • International marketing FP&A experience.
  • Lendtech experience.
  • Spanish fluency.
