Sr. Business Development Manager

PayJoy is looking for a Sr. Business Development Manager in Mexico City that will be responsible for signing and scaling strategic telecommunication and retail partners throughout Mexico. As our ideal candidate, you are a proven sales leader with strong relationships with existing and prospective partners. You are results-driven, and enjoy a high-change environment that is focused on expanding PayJoy’s phone finance services across Mexico. You will be tasked with keeping existing and new telco and retail partners actively selling and scaling with PayJoy, which means you will need to build and develop the required Business Development team, programs and tools that will ensure we are engaging, signing, and reaching scale with every strategic Partner.

Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for signing new corporate distribution partners in retail or telco
  • You will be responsible for managing a team of key account and program managers
  • You will provide an executive presence to your team and your partners
  • You will leverage your existing network to break into key strategic accounts
  • You will work cross functionally to ensure your team and your partners have the tools necessary to be successful
  • Qualifications

  • Minimum experience of 9+ years in any of the following areas: Customer Service, Field Sales, Sales in Software
  • Experience in Telecom or Retail industry (required)
  • Experience in signing large corporate contracts with long sales cycles
  • Experience with managing a team of direct reports to hit your monthly sales targets
  • Strong analytical, organization, communication and interpersonal skills
  • English is mandatory
