Head of Global Marketing / VP of Global Marketing

The Head of Global Marketing role will be responsible for all marketing functions globally. This role will build on the success of PayJoy’s phone financing, cash lending, and new businesses across several markets to establish PayJoy as the leader in credit for the underbanked. This role will also engage with the regions to help them achieve ambitious goals. This role will be responsible for establishing/strengthening the PayJoy brand, acquiring customers and merchants from online and offline channels, managing regional and global events, product marketing, and communications and PR. Successful candidates will be able to engage deeply in all marketing activities and build and lead strong teams. Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities to improve execution, develop/adopt processes and tools, and drive change management across the organization
  • Balance strategic thinking and pragmatism in getting things done
  • Work with the leadership team to define, launch, and drive operational initiatives
  • Drive cross-functional, cross-regional initiatives that deliver business outcomes
  • Build and manage a high performing team
  • Requirements

  • 15+ years experience leading marketing for direct-to-consumer businesses
  • Experience establishing a consumer brand, driving growth, and product marketing
  • Experience with emerging markets and financial services preferred
  • Ample executive exposure as a marketing leader demonstrated the ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial organization
  • MBA from top business school preferred
