HR Generalist

This role
PayJoy is looking for an HR Generalist to help with our local HR needs and create and sustain a welcoming office environment. The Human Resource Analyst is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and working closely with senior HR management in supporting designated geographic regions. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: benefits administration, employee relations, on-boarding, recruitment for some roles, affirmative action, and employment law compliance.  We are also looking for someone who will be responsible for our office management, including ordering supplies and being the main point of contact for any maintenance needs. This person will be the focal point for our CX hub.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as an HR representative in the Mexico office, working closely with the Latam HR Manager to implement programs and procedures.
  • Functioning as the local point of contact for Mexican HR initiatives and guidelines.
  • Research and resolve issues according to defined scope and in alignment with local and regional legislation.
  • Manage and enhance the new hire experience and culture engagement activities.
  • Lead or participate on project teams to develop and execute new policies, programs or tools within the company.
  • Help with local recruiting specially CX positions.
  • Manage all office related subjects. 
  • Qualifications

  • 3-5 years working in HR as a generalist
  • Bachelor degree
  • Experience in startups or globally-dispersed companies a plus
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-growing company and coordinate with HR colleagues around the world 
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Fluent English
