Executive Assistant

As we scale our global teams, PayJoy is looking for an Executive Assistant to provide immediate support for our Finance and HR Leadership Teams.  The ideal candidate connects with PayJoy’s mission and has a strong growth mindset. We are growing from 300 to 600 global employees in the coming months, and this person will play a key part in making their departments grow quickly and productively.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule and plan meetings, virtual and in-person
  • Coordinate travel arrangements 
  • Facilitate and support departmental meetings
  • Coordinate purchasing and expenses
  • Maintain Google Drive files
  • Act as business partner to assigned Executives, offering feedback regularly with high EQ and skills in interpersonal dynamics
  • Assist in execution of department and global team offsites and events
  • Collaborate with EA to CEO on special projects as needed 
  • Requirements

  • 2-3 years experience as an EA at a growing start-up
  • Clear English written and verbal communication a must (Bilingual in Spanish a plus)
  • Strong cross functional verbal and written communication skills
  • Organization and prioritization skills to handle and process multiple, sometimes competing, requests
  • Follow up, follow through, and execution
  • Proactivity to spot trends and help to bring attention to needs from the team
