Regional Sales Manager - Porto Alegre

You will contribute to the mission of delivering consumer finance at scale. One of the many reasons PayJoy develops innovative products is because of the collaborative work of our teams that enable consumer finance in emerging markets. This person will help drive the growth of PayJoy’s innovative smartphone service in the Brazilian market.

You will build on the success of PayJoy’s phone financing business to meet ambitious growth goals. You'll work with teammates across the company and external partners to ensure a successful operation. As our ideal candidate, you are dynamic, results-driven and enjoy a high-change environment that is focused on building the next generation of PayJoy’s phone finance experiences. 

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for expansion of retail and distribution and to increase sales revenue, while building solid relationships with carriers, retailers, and distributors. This position will be focused on the southeast region and will play a supportive role in other regions. You will manage a group of sales executives.

  • Develop and implement effective strategic plans and goals to achieve sales objectives and budgets. Establish and strengthen relationships with our commercial partners to ensure the growth of our distribution network.
  • Plan and implement sales activities to assist with the achievement of sales objectives in coordination with Sales Executives and other PayJoy teams.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate sales forecasts.
  • Proactively manage the sales functions of the Sales Executives responsible for driving sales through our commercial partners.
  • Support the Sales Executives in all their business activities to optimize customer satisfaction and thereby enlarge the existing customer base.
  • Monitor competitor activities by obtaining information on competitors and market trends and create a future through insights.
  • Generate sales reports that can help the team to have clarity on the actions that needs to be taken, on progress of PayJoy initiatives, and to track the business evolution.
  • Deploy new products/services/functionalities in the Brazilian market.
  • Monitor and provide guidance on and suggestions for continuous process improvement.
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure that sales objectives are met. 
  • Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a sales management position. Preferably working with mobile, consumer electronics, or financial products.
  • Previous experience negotiating with consumer electronics’ retailers & distributors.
  • Consolidated negotiation and communication skills.
  • Solid customer facing background, and successfully assess customer needs from the market. Ability to work well individually, within a cross functional team, and to travel.
  • Experience managing sales teams.
  • Advanced English required.
  • Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge on using GSuite and Microsoft office tools.
  • Experience using CRM tools such as Zoho, Salesforce, etc.
  • Spanish to be considered a plus.
