HR Generalist / Recruiter - BR

PayJoy is looking for an HR Generalist / Recruiter to help build our local team, while also creating and sustaining an inclusive and welcoming environment. This position is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and working closely with senior HR and local management in supporting Brazil. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: recruiting and screening of prospective candidates; conducting and coordinating interviews; on-boarding; benefits administration; payroll administration; employee relation;, and employment law compliance.  We are also looking for someone who will be responsible for our office management, including all office related administration and being the main point of contact for any office related needs. 

Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Latam HR Manager, serve as the HR representative for Brazil to implement programs and procedures.
  • Conduct companywide onboarding processes to enhance the new hire experience and further culture engagement activities.
  • Function as the local point of contact for Brazil HR initiatives and programs.
  • Research and resolve issues according to defined scope and in alignment with corporate, local, and regional guidelines.
  • Lead or participate on project teams to develop and execute new policies, programs or tools within the company.
  • Partner with the PayJoy Recruiting Manager and local leaders to handle local recruiting for Sales, CX, and professional positions, as assigned.
  • Manage all office related activities.
  • Requirements:

  • 3-5 years working in HR as a generalist, with recruiting experience
  • Bachelors degree
  • Experience in startups or globally-dispersed companies preferred
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-growing company and coordinate with HR colleagues globally
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Advanced English; Spanish is a plus
