Compliance Analyst

The Compliance Analyst will join a global Legal & Compliance function to support the creation and implementation of the corporate compliance program in conjunction with Fraud, Risk, Collections and Operations. The Compliance Analyst will be responsible for designing, implementing and executing compliance controls related to Mexico regulatory obligations and international best practices as well as partnering with multiple teams to provide guidance and execute operational controls and reporting. A successful candidate will be able to identify potential issues and provide comprehensive solutions while effectively communicating and timely escalating manners while enabling PayJoy to continue operating in a fast-paced environment with a focus on customer satisfaction.


  • Support building and implementing the corporate compliance program; designing, executing and supervising policies, processes and controls.
  • Implementation and execution of controls for regulatory compliance in Mexico including AML/CTF, reports to CNBV and KYC.
  • Perform periodic internal reviews to identify potential weaknesses and noncompliant situations.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with Operations teams to identify and resolve compliance issues, needs and enhancements. 
  • Prepare reports and presentations by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Manage Third Party Service Providers; legal firms, blacklist providers, consultants, etc.
  • Support the Compliance program for other Latam countries.
  • Conduct additional ad hoc compliance assignments as requested while maintaining the highest ethical standards.
  • Requirements

  • At least 2 years in Compliance functions (Corporate compliance, Policies, AML, FIU, CO, etc).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Law, Economics, Engineering or related field.
  • Experience in financially regulated industries in Mexico like SOFOM ENR, Fintech, Credit, Banking, etc is a plus.
  • Strong ethical record and behaviour.
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken.
