Account Manager - Brazil

You will contribute to the mission of delivering consumer finance at scale. One of the many reasons PayJoy develops innovative products is because of the collaborative work of our teams that enable consumer finance in emerging markets. This person will help drive the growth of PayJoy’s innovative smartphone service in the Brazilian market. 

You will build on the success of PayJoy’s phone financing business to meet ambitious growth goals. You will work with teams across the company as well as external partners to ensure a successful operation. You are dynamic, results-driven, and enjoy a high-change environment. You’ll be responsible for supporting the retail expansion, scaling existing clients, building solid relationships, and increasing sales figures.


  • Map, qualify and close deals with new business partners
  • Develop existing partnerships to increase business results
  • Scale the adoption of PayJoy products by our partners’ field force at the Point-of-Sale by ensuring their teams are well trained and have the appropriate support
  • Ensure PayJoy sales programs are appropriately being deployed in the field
  • Serve as a client advocate and liaison for internal teams
  • Recommend marketing strategies for the purpose of enhancing company sales
  • Conduct market research into emerging trends in the retail/telecom industry
  • Analyze workflow and make recommendations for streamlining or improving sales processes
  • Generate sales reports for team clarity, and run competitors’ researches
  • Deploy new products, services, and functionalities in the Brazilian market
  • Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience with account management (Preferably working with mobile, consumer electronics, or financial products)
  • Excellent analytical, organizational and ability to effectively prioritize tasks
  • Solid customer-facing background, and successfully assess customer needs from the market
  • Experience in training and onboarding new commercial partners
  • Ability to work well individually, within a cross-functional team, and to travel
  • Advanced English required
  • Desired Qualifications

  • Experience working with large retailers/carriers as a client is a plus
  • Knowledge on using GSuite, Microsoft Office and CRM tools
  • Experience handling data through Excel or SQL
