As a key member of the talent team, you will have the opportunity to help shape our workforce. You will ensure that we have the best talent in place to help take PayJoy to the next level.

You will be responsible for developing and nurturing a strong talent pipeline across a range of positions in customer service, engineering, sales, marketing, and G&A. You will also help build PayJoy’s brand presence locally using social media, community and/or industry networking, working alongside marketing and the broader People/HR team.

You have strategically managed the full cycle of recruiting. You have successfully sourced, screened, and hired for a wide variety of roles - both salaried and hourly. You have a strong track-record of working with experienced candidates and stakeholders to deliver outstanding impact. You are an excellent partner and collaborator, obsessed with hiring managers’ needs, and relentless in your pursuit of meeting their high expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Drive end-to-end talent acquisition - own the full lifecycle recruiting process from sourcing through offer and close, across multiple roles
  • Source and attract candidates by using databases, social media, etc
  • Proactively research to understand the talent landscape and leverage competitive intelligence to inform your sourcing strategies
  • Develop and update job descriptions, and post to appropriate job boards
  • Screen candidates to ensure efficient interview to hire ratio
  • Conduct initial assessment of applicants’ relevant knowledge, soft skills, experience and aptitude
  • Help with onboarding new hires to ensure they become fully integrated with our teams
  • Work closely with the rest of the People/HR team to apply recruiting best practices
  • Provide analytical and recruiting reports as needed
  • Act as the single point of contact throughout the interview process, and build influential candidate relationships during the process
  • Requirements

  • 8 years full cycle recruiting experience
  • Experience hiring across a breadth of roles, preferably at startups or U.S. headquartered companies. Agency experience is a plus
  • Work closely with hiring managers and HR leadership in negotiating and presenting offers
  • Solid experience of sourcing, interviewing, doing reference checks, and closing
