One ID. Two Lives Changed.

Meet Nicole and Aaron
Nicole Eve Aguilar is 22 years old and runs her own food cart in the Philippines. Aaron Dela Cruz is 28, working as a call center agent at a BPO company in Quezon. Different jobs but the same wall they kept running into when they needed a phone and didn't have the paperwork the system usually demands.
The Challenge
Nicole needed a reliable phone to manage her business. Advance orders were coming in, but without a device that could keep up, she was missing them. Aaron walked into a store with ₱6,000 in his pocket for a phone that cost ₱7,500 — short on cash, no payslips, no company ID. Other credit apps required all of it. For both of them, the traditional options were closed.
A New Way to Pay
At a Farmers store, a sales associate pointed Aaron to a PayJoy sign posted outside. He applied with just his valid ID — and was approved on the spot. That same day, three other people in the store were in the same situation: newly employed, only a PhilHealth card to show. PayJoy approved them too.
Nicole's experience was just as simple. One valid ID, a quick photo, and done. No COE, no payslips, no long process.
For Aaron, PayJoy proved its value again months later when a typhoon hit Quezon and his area flooded. His payment was already under a judicial order — his phone was about to be blocked. He opened the PayJoy app and found an automatic three-day extension on his due date. In the middle of a crisis, it was exactly what he needed.
Measuring the Growth
Nicole can now take advance orders in real time. Her business moves faster because her phone can keep up. Aaron has a device he relies on for work — and a credit experience that didn't make him feel like a risk just for not having the right documents.
They're both building something. And PayJoy helped make sure the process didn't get in the way.
